Dr. Firas Halawani is a Senior Visiting Lecturer at the Management Development Institute of Singapore in Tashkent. He teaches various tourism and hospitality modules to undergraduate programs in partnership with Bangor University, UK. Before joining 葫芦影业T, Dr Firas served as a head of department and academic manager at the International Tourism and Hospitality College in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Since 2017. Besides, he has 13 years of professional work experience including lecturing, vocational training, and curriculum development with international colleges/universities such as Laureate International Universities, USA, and Lincoln College Group, UK. Before becoming an educator, he was a tourism and hospitality practitioner with 10 years of work experience in the hospitality and events industries (based in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia).

Dr Firas is a certified hospitality department Trainer (CHDT) from the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute (USA); a Certified assessor- Level 3 Award in understanding the principles and practices of assessment, City & guilds group (UK); a certified specialist in working adult students from Laureate faculty of development 鈥 USA; Certified Internal verifier (IV) from Laureate Vocational Saudi Arabia.
