«Ӱҵ TASHKENT HOSTS THE ASIAN FENCING CHAMPIONSHIP
February 24-March 3, 2022. «Ӱҵ hosts the Asian Fencing Championship among juniors and cadets where young athletes compete in three sword types: saber, rapier and sword for the points in the international FIE ranking.
This spectacular event is organized with the support of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Olympic Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
More than 400 athletes from 25 Asian countries are now competing for the title of the best swordsman in Asia. Uzbekistan is represented by Zainab Daibekova, Sherzod Mamutov, Pazylbek Genzhebaev, Ilyas Molina, Anvarkhon Salikhozhiev and others.
The representatives of the international panel, include globally recognized judges: Aleksey Kuznetsov (Canada), Arslan AbduSamet (Turkey), Mikhail Pagiev (Moldova), Natalya Zhuravleva (Russia), as well as judges from Uzbekistan with the international category Khasanova Aida, Buriev Ortyk, Dilorom Turdikulova, Ibragimov Rustam, Sharipov Khalilullo, Andreeva Margarita, Knyazev Igor and Alexandrov Roman.
